Job Description
The Sales & Technical Support Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Sales & Technical Support Teams within the Life Sciences business unit, ensuring efficient coordination between sales, customers, suppliers and internal departments. This role is essential to maintaining accurate records, strengthening customer relationships, and contributing to the smooth execution of sales operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and process quotations, purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices.
- Respond to customer inquiries and support the sales team in preparing sales proposals
- Support the technical team with the scheduling of appointments and billing
- Support the sales and technical support teams with inventory management
- Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and quality teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Support customers with order status, documentation, and basic product information
- Maintain an organised electronic filing system of business-related documents.
- Support the onboarding process of new customers and suppliers
- Assist with the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, logbooks and presentations
- Maintain high standards of responsiveness and customer service
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, policies, and documentation requirements
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting notes when required
- Support ad-hoc administrative tasks required by the team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in sales support or administrative roles is an asset.
